Four paths of discovery

Wine, beyond the glass

Personal taste, places, people and the art of living: four perspectives for exploring wine with JC Viens.

From understanding your own senses to discovering landscapes and cultures, from the choices producers make to the pleasures of the table, each path offers a different way to understand wine and enrich your experience.

Taste for Pleasure

Understanding what you enjoy is the starting point for feeling more at ease with wine. Through tasting and comparison, you learn to recognise your preferences, put your sensations into words and choose with greater confidence.

Tasting becomes a way to develop your personal taste and discover new sources of enjoyment, from choosing a bottle to sharing wine around the table.

A Sense of Place

Wine can offer a way to discover a place: its landscape, food, traditions and the lives of the people who call it home. Through tasting, we explore the connections between what we find in the glass and the culture it comes from.

Comparing wines takes us on a journey through different regions, revealing how nature and human choices shape their identity—and the pleasure of feeling, for a moment, somewhere else.

The Soul of Wine

Behind every label are people, convictions and choices. This path explores the relationship between producers and their wines: the stories, doubts and decisions that shape their work in the vineyard and cellar.

Tasting meets the stories of the people who make the wine. We connect what we find in the glass with their intentions and work, leaving room for questions and our own judgement.

Wine & the Art of Living

The table is a place to come together, where wine, food and conversation give shape to hospitality. This path explores the pleasure of welcoming others, from aperitivo to celebrations, with attention to flavours and the thoughtful gestures that make guests feel at ease.

We explore how to choose and serve wine, pair it with food and create a welcoming atmosphere. Beauty and simplicity guide an approach to entertaining where the pleasure of being together matters more than formality.
