1. Returns within 30 days
Grande Passione offers an overall 30-day return period for physical goods, consisting of:
- the statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases during the first 14 days;
- a voluntary extension offered by Grande Passione from day 15 to day 30.
The conditions applying to each period are set out below.
2. Online purchases: 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer and purchase a physical good online, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days from the day on which you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods, without having to give any reason.
Where a single order includes several goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you acquire physical possession of the last item.
The right of withdrawal also applies when a product purchased online is subsequently collected from Atelier del Vino.
You may communicate your decision to withdraw:
- by using the Exercise your right of withdrawal link available on the online store, accessing your order through Shopify Customer Accounts and submitting the relevant cancellation or return request; or
- by writing to contact@grandepassione.com with an explicit statement of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
When you use the online function, your request is recorded electronically and you receive confirmation that it has been received.
After communicating your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw.
During this period you may:
- return the goods personally to Grande Passione, Atelier del Vino, Via Mario Morgantini 2/A, 37128 Verona; or
- send them using a carrier or courier of your choice.
The direct cost of returning the goods by carrier or courier is borne by you.
Grande Passione does not provide prepaid return labels.
If you wish to send the goods back, contact us after communicating your withdrawal so that we can provide the practical information required for the return.
3. Voluntary extension from day 15 to day 30
Grande Passione voluntarily extends the return period to 30 days from the date on which you received or collected the goods.
From day 15 to day 30, the goods must be returned in person to:
Grande Passione – Atelier del Vino
Via Mario Morgantini 2/A
37128 Verona (VR)
During this voluntary period, returns by post, courier or other delivery services are not accepted.
Please contact us in advance at contact@grandepassione.com.
To benefit from the voluntary extension, the goods must be intact, complete, unused beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, suitable for resale and accompanied by proof of purchase. Any original packaging should also be returned where it was supplied and is reasonably relevant to the resale of the product.
This voluntary extension does not limit any rights granted to consumers by law.
4. Purchases made directly at Atelier del Vino
For purchases concluded directly at the physical retail location, there is no general statutory right to change your mind.
Grande Passione nevertheless voluntarily allows physical goods to be returned within 30 days of purchase.
The return must be made exclusively in person at Atelier del Vino, and the goods must be intact, complete, suitable for resale and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Returns by post, courier or other delivery services are not accepted for purchases concluded directly at the physical retail location.
For wine purchased directly from Atelier del Vino, the bottle must be unopened, intact, properly stored and suitable for resale.
5. Condition of goods returned under the statutory right of withdrawal
During the statutory withdrawal period, you may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
If the goods have suffered a loss in value as a result of handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose, you may be responsible for that diminished value to the extent permitted by law.
Missing or damaged original packaging does not automatically result in the loss of the statutory right of withdrawal, but may be taken into account when assessing any reduction in value where relevant.
6. Products and services subject to specific conditions
This policy primarily concerns physical goods.
The conditions relating to:
- tickets for events and tastings;
- courses;
- digital content and downloads;
- memberships and restricted-access content;
- experiences and services;
- any personalised products;
are governed by the conditions applicable to the relevant product or service and by the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Where the law provides for an exception to the right of withdrawal, that exception is applied only in the cases and under the conditions provided by applicable law.
In particular, certain tastings and events tied to a specific date or period may be excluded from the right of withdrawal where provided by law.
For digital content supplied immediately, any loss of the right of withdrawal applies only where the customer has previously given express consent to the immediate beginning of supply, has acknowledged that this entails the loss of the right of withdrawal, and has received the relevant confirmation. Grande Passione records this choice with the order and confirms it in the email that makes the digital content available.
Courses are not automatically treated as non-refundable: the specific conditions stated at the time of purchase apply, subject to any mandatory rights provided by law.
7. Damaged, defective or incorrect products
Please inspect the product when you collect or receive it.
If an item is defective, damaged or different from what you purchased, contact us as soon as possible at contact@grandepassione.com, quoting the order number and, where useful, attaching photographs of the product.
These cases are handled separately from ordinary returns.
All consumer rights arising from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity and other mandatory applicable provisions remain unaffected. The terms of this voluntary 30-day policy do not limit those rights.
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different product, return the purchased product in accordance with this policy. Once the return has been accepted, you may place a separate new order.
9. Refunds under the statutory right of withdrawal
When you validly exercise the right of withdrawal, we will refund the amounts due under applicable law without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw.
For contracts for the sale of goods, we may withhold the refund until:
- we have received the returned goods; or
- you have provided evidence that you have sent them back,
whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Under the store’s current configuration, physical goods purchased online are available exclusively for collection from Atelier del Vino; therefore, initial delivery costs do not normally apply.
If a physical good is exceptionally shipped, the refund will also include, where required by law, any cost originally paid by the customer for the standard delivery method, but not any additional cost resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method.
10. Refunds under the voluntary extension from day 15 to day 30
Once the returned goods have been received and inspected, we will inform you whether the return has been accepted.
If the return meets the conditions of this policy, the refund will be made within 10 working days from acceptance of the return, normally using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
The time required for the amount to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment service provider.
