Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Purpose and scope
Grande Passione is a WSET Approved Programme Provider (APP no. 3119) and delivers its courses at Atelier del Vino in Verona.
We aim to provide a respectful, inclusive learning environment where students are treated fairly and can participate without discrimination, harassment or intimidation.
This policy applies to students, educators, collaborators and anyone acting on behalf of Grande Passione.
Fair and respectful treatment
We treat people with dignity and impartiality, regardless of their background, nationality, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, age, disability, family circumstances, pregnancy or maternity.
Admission is based on the relevant qualification’s entry requirements and applicable Italian law, including age restrictions relating to activities involving alcohol.
Harassment, intimidation, discriminatory behaviour and offensive language are not acceptable.
Our commitments
Grande Passione will:
- Explain entry requirements, course language and study expectations before enrolment.
- Apply relevant admission criteria fairly and consistently.
- Encourage participation and questions in a respectful learning environment.
- Discuss individual needs and consider feasible support.
- Listen to feedback and address barriers to participation where possible.
Our WSET courses, study materials and exams are offered in English. This is communicated before enrolment so that students can make an informed decision.
Accessibility and individual support
If you have a disability, learning need or another circumstance that may affect your participation, please contact us before enrolling:
We will discuss access to the venue, learning materials and any support that may be appropriate and feasible.
Exam adjustments are subject to WSET requirements and, where applicable, prior approval. They must preserve the essential assessment requirements and must not give a student an unfair advantage.
Please consult our policies on [Reasonable Adjustments](/en/pages/wset-adattamenti-ragionevoli) and [Special Consideration](/en/pages/wset-special-consideration).
