Aspirant de Beychevelle is a Saint-Julien red from the Médoc, linked to Château Beychevelle. The blend includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
A full-bodied red, with dark fruit and a firm tannic structure that gives direction to the sip. The texture is juicy, but the grip of the tannins maintains a dry and defined sensation on the finish. The aromatic profile combines black berries, cedar and herbs, with a meaty nuance that adds depth without shifting the focus away from the fruit. The Saint-Julien character emerges in the relationship between volume and the hold of the texture: a composed, sustained progression, in which the concentration remains accompanied by a recognizable texture. The style thus favors structure and definition, with a flavorful finish.
