Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos by Château Pajzos, produced in the Hungarian region of Tokaj from selected grapes affected by noble rot.
The botrytized aszú berries concentrated by the rot contribute to the production of this sweet wine, followed by a long aging period in oak and rest in the bottle.
A sweet white wine of remarkable concentration, with a dense and enveloping texture that retains movement thanks to its incisive acidity. Sweetness occupies the center of the palate, while freshness extends its development and makes the finish more distinct. Preserves of apricot, candied citrus fruits and honey intertwine with almond, marzipan and spices, with a hint of ginger. The long contact with oak complements the character of the botrytized grapes without exhausting their aroma. The style is defined by the contrast between richness and tension, with a creamy texture and a long-lasting aromatic finish.
