Domaine du Mont Verrier is located in the hills of Saint-Julien, in Beaujolais. This Beaujolais-Villages is a Gamay red, expressing the fruity tradition of the appellation.
The 2025 vintage is aged in vats, preserving a direct expression of the fruit and a delicate tannic texture.
A medium-light-bodied red, with a lively acidity that highlights the fruit and supports a restrained tannic structure. The texture is soft and flowing, with a slight dry grip that accompanies the finish. Cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry intertwine with floral nuances of peony and sweet spices. The aromatic maturity does not detract from the crispness of the sip, which maintains a fresh and juicy character. The Gamay and vat aging define a style centered on fragrance, without a dominant oak imprint. The balance between restrained weight, delicate tannins, and freshness makes the finish crisp and consistent with the fruit.
