Errázuriz Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Estate Sauvignon Blanc by Errázuriz comes from vineyards in the Aconcagua region, near the Pacific Ocean, on hills at elevations between 100 and 300 metres. Ocean breezes and morning mists accompany the ripening of the grapes.

The hand-harvested grapes are destemmed, crushed, and pressed. The clarified must ferments for fifteen to twenty days in steel; the final blend is gently filtered before bottling.

A medium-light Sauvignon Blanc, with pronounced acidity that supports the depth of fruit and keeps the palate fresh. The texture is flowing, with a slight roundness in the mid-palate and a dry, lively finish. Lime and mandarin define the citrus register, alongside tropical fruit and herbal nuances reminiscent of asparagus. Aconcagua’s coastal imprint is evident in the contrast between aromatic ripeness and tension. Fermentation in steel preserves clarity and immediate expressiveness, creating a predominantly fruity style in which freshness guides the progression and prolongs the citrus sensations on the finish.
