Flechas de los Andes Gran Corte 2020

Gran Corte by Flechas de los Andes is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Syrah produced in Mendoza, in the Vista Flores area of Valle de Uco. The vineyards are located at the foot of the Andes, on soils with stones, pebbles, sand and gravel.

For 2020, Meregalli indicates 55% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Franc and 5% Syrah. The winemaking includes cold pre-fermentation maceration.

A full-bodied red, with ample volume and a concentration that is expressed above all in its aromatic density. Freshness supports the palate and contains the sensation of weight, while the mature tannins provide a soft but present texture. Plum and violet form the core of the profile, accompanied by notes of rose and a spicy component that comes to the fore on the finish. The consistency remains enveloping, with a progression sustained more by tension than by an increase in power. The meeting between the intensity of the Malbec and the floral contribution of the Cabernet Franc defines a rich, fragrant and complex style.
