Belleruche Rouge is a Côtes-du-Rhône by M. Chapoutier, composed mainly of Grenache and Syrah. It comes from a combination of clay and gravel soils, stony terraces, and silty sands in the southern Rhône Valley.

The grapes are destemmed and vinified for three to four weeks in concrete and steel, with daily pump-overs and temperature control. This is followed by six months of aging in the same materials, without any transfer to wood.

A full-bodied red wine in which the ripeness of the fruit and the warmth of the alcohol give breadth to the palate. The structure is expressed through delicate tannins, which offer a restrained grip and a silky texture, while the juicy character keeps the progression flowing. Blackcurrant and raspberry define the aromatic profile, accompanied by white pepper and light roasted notes. Aging in concrete and steel preserves the fruit at the core, without adding oak aromas. A generous and direct style emerges, with a soft texture and a spicy component that accompanies the finish.
