WSET Level 1 Award in Wines

A one-day course to explore wine systematically and gain confidence in tasting. You will discover the main wine styles, key grape varieties, wine service and storage, and the principles of food and wine pairing.

Language: teaching, textbook and examination in English.

Venue: Atelier del Vino di Grande Passione, Via Mario Morgantini 2A, Verona.

Teaching hours: 09:00–16:30.

Participants: maximum 12.

Price: €290 per participant, including VAT. The fee includes the textbook and examination.

Course and examination dates

• 11 January 2027 — examination on the same day, from 16:30 to 17:30.
• 15 March 2027 — examination on the same day, from 16:30 to 17:30.
• 7 June 2027 — examination on the same day, from 16:30 to 17:30.
• 4 October 2027 — examination on the same day, from 16:30 to 17:30.

Each registration includes one day of teaching and the examination on your chosen date. Registration closes 10 days before the course begins.

Study materials

The textbook is dispatched approximately 10 days before the course begins, once the course is confirmed to go ahead. Delivery times depend on the postal service or courier.
